Previous Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke informed CNBC on Wednesday that he thinks the central lender acted with appropriate pressure to help the U.S. economic climate get ahead of the coronavirus and established the phase for a solid rebound the moment the disease abates.
“I imagine the Fed has been very proactive and Jay Powell and his group have been doing the job really tough and obtained ahead of this,” he claimed. They “have demonstrated that they can established up a full bunch of various systems that can support us maintain the overall economy working in the course of the shutdown period of time so that when the all-distinct is sounded that we are going to see a much better rebound than we if not would.”
