The Geneva car show that was set to start subsequent 7 days has been canceled, organizers Palexpo explained on Friday, blaming Swiss federal government heath steps built to incorporate coronavirus.
Switzerland on Friday banned massive occasions predicted to draw much more than 1,000 persons as an extraordinary measure to suppress the new coronavirus epidemic.
“We regret this problem, but the overall health of all contributors is our and our exhibitors’ major precedence. This is a circumstance of pressure majeure and a tremendous reduction for the brands who have invested massively in their existence in Geneva,”
Maurice Turrettini, Chairman of the Palexpo Basis Board explained. The 90th Geneva Motor Show was due to begin on Monday.
