President Donald Trump claimed Saturday that he’s thinking of positioning a small-expression quarantine on New York, New Jersey and specific elements of Connecticut as the coronavirus outbreak continues to spread.

“I’m contemplating about that right now. We could not have to do it but you can find a probability that sometime currently we are going to do a quarantine,” Trump told reporters at the White Household Saturday. “Shorter-expression, two 7 days on New York, probably New Jersey and specified sections of Connecticut.”

Trump reported he would make a determination currently whether or not to enforce a quarantine. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo reported he spoke with Trump Saturday morning but didn’t explore a probable quarantine on the condition.

“I spoke to the president about the ship coming up and the 4 websites, I didn’t converse to him about any quarantine. No I haven’t had people conversations,” Cuomo reported
